The shape of the HVACR to come: open innovation and sustainability
The role of the HVACR in the development of public policies
Young leadership and volunteerism (or how to get passionate about our HVACR industry)
Energy efficiency and decarbonization in the HVACR industry against the climate change
Humans breathe around 8,500 liters of air daily and can only go about 3 minutes without breathing before the oxygen supply to the brain begins to decrease. Likewise, we spend between 80 and 90% of our daily activity inside confined spaces depending on work activity. Currently, 56% of the population lives in cities and this number is expected to increase exponentially; the operation of the buildings where the population are living today produces 38% of energy-related CO2 emissions.
The pandemic showed us more than ever the importance of democratizing indoor air quality for the benefit of the population; there is a fascinating nod within water, air and energy and its relationship with climate change. The main goal of this presentation is to communicate to the attendee the great opportunity we must improve the world through the HVACR arts and sciences.
